Who we are and why do we share our space?
Flatshare Type
I am subletting my room from may until July 1st and looking for someone who fits well with the current flatmate and the established vibe of the home. We are looking for a reliable person who wants a stable, easy-going place to live. How We Live Together The focus of this flat is mutual respect and a calm environment. Cleanliness: Keeping common areas (kitchen, bathroom) clean is very important. • Communication: We value being direct and clear with each other to keep things running smoothly. • The Vibe: This is not a party house, but it isn’t a library either. It’s a balanced home. • Social Life: We enjoy the occasional dinner, a chat on the terrace, or a glass of wine. However, we also fully respect each other's privacy and need for "me time." • The Terrace: A great feature of the flat. It’s used for relaxed evenings with friends, always while being mindful of noise and the other person's space. About Your Flatmate You will be sharing the flat with a portrait and documentary photographer who works between Berlin and Florence and has a background in classical music. He has a lot of experience in shared living and values: • Reliability. • Emotional maturity (low drama). • A professional but creative lifestyle. This is a queer-friendly and open-minded home. We welcome anyone who shares these values.
A bit more about our home and location
The apartment is located in Kreuzberg, directly facing a large park - which is rare for such a central area. You're surrounded by cafés, bars, restaurants and small independent shops, but the immediate surroundings still feel open thanks to the park view. Public transport is very convenient: U1 / U3 within 2 minutes walking distance U8 reachable in under 10 minutes Several bus lines nearby You're well connected to Neukölln, Friedrichshain, Mitte and Schöneberg without long commuting times. Central, lively, but with actual breathing space.
Who would be a good fit We're looking for someone friendly, respectful and comfortable in a shared living environment.
Keeping common areas reasonably clean and communicating openly about practical matters helps everything run smoothly.
The flat works well for someone who values a relaxed atmosphere, personal space and a good balance between independence and shared moments.
Make sure to greet me in your message with "Juhuu" so I know youve read everything until here.
If you're looking for a pleasant home in Kreuzberg and this sounds like your vibe, feel free to reach out and tell us a bit about yourself.
