That’s 21 new homes. 21 times “Welcome to your new chapter”. And that’s exactly why we founded heyroom. Not because we necessarily felt like another startup or a fancy app (although, the app is pretty nice). But because we believe that shared flats are more than just a cheap housing solution. They are a real antidote to loneliness! <\/p>\n\n
You may know this: This one shared apartment that changed everything. Where roommates became friends. Where you felt understood \u2013 without big words. Where the kitchen was the place-to-be, even if there was only frozen pizza. Where no one asked why you didn’t want to say anything right now \u2013 but someone was there anyway. <\/p>\n\n
This feeling \u2013 that’s our why.<\/p>\n\n
The world constantly tells us: You have to manage on your own. Single apartment. Individual office. Noise-cancelling against everything that disturbs. But we believe that the best often happens when you’re not alone. <\/p>\n\n
We don’t want you to just find a room. We want you to find people who make your everyday life a little bit brighter. That make you laugh when all you really wanted to do was take out the trash. Who are there \u2013 if you don’t want to be alone. <\/p>\n\n
